Welcome to smallholdingnetwork.com (the "Site"). By using this Site, you agree to these Terms.

Platform Only: We provide an online marketplace for the smallholding community. We are not an auctioneer, estate agent, or livestock dealer.
No Part in Transactions: Any contract for the sale of land, machinery, or livestock is strictly between the Buyer and the Seller. We do not verify the condition of items or the health of animals.

To maintain the integrity of the "Greenshifter" legacy, we hold a high standard for animal listings.

Legal Compliance: Sellers must possess a valid County Parish Holding (CPH) number where required by law.
Welfare Standards: All animals must be listed and transported in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and the Welfare of Animals (Transport) Order.
Documentation: Sellers must ensure that all relevant passports (Cattle/Equine) and movement documents (Sheep/Pigs/Goats) are provided at the point of sale.
Prohibited: We do not allow the sale of domestic pets (dogs/cats) or any animal intended for illegal activities.

Accuracy: All listings must comply with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations. Descriptions of acreage, boundaries, and planning permissions must be honest and not misleading.
Right to Remove: We reserve the right to remove property listings that appear to be "scams" or are listed without the owner's explicit permission.

"As Is" Sales: Unless otherwise stated by a commercial dealer, all machinery is sold "as seen."
Safety Responsibility: In accordance with HSE (PUWER) regulations, buyers are responsible for ensuring that used machinery (e.g., tractors, chainsaws, PTO-driven implements) is safe for use and fitted with necessary guards before operation.

Listing Packages: Fees paid for Bronze, Silver, or Gold packages are for the advertising service provided.
Non-Refundable: Once a listing is live, fees are non-refundable unless the Site fails to provide the service as described.

User-Generated Content: We are not responsible for the accuracy of any user-generated content or the behavior of users during off-site viewings.
Safety Warning: We strongly advise all users to never send money via bank transfer before seeing an item or animal in person. Always view before you buy.
